Variety of local food to choose from. I try a few dishes from different stalls. From stall Asam Pedas claypot Puteri Sarmani, I bought asam pedas ikan pari for Rm 20. Portion is big, and gravy is tasty. It has a mix of nicely blend spicy, sweet, and sour taste. Stingray cook well. Suitable for 2 pax. We also bought mee hailam, nasi goreng kampung, and nasi goreng pattaya. Each for Rm 8. The price is super reasonable, and the portion is just right. All are flavoursome. I recently tried a traditional apam balik that was previously only available at Jalan Kurning 😛, and I was pleased to find that the taste has been maintained even after at branch. I really enjoyed it. Additionally, their goreng pisang was very crispy and delicious. I am very particular with cheese and found their cheese was use of a good quality cheese as it topping, which made it an excellent value for money for me, will come back again and cheers to Apam Balik Jalil.

I heard from my friend that there is a legendary Apam balik 曼煎饼 here with 20 years history, thus I came to taste. There are 3 flavors, which are sweetcorn, chocolate and peanuts. You can choose thick or thin, cost the same rm6 per piece m. 😂 I bought all of them and found peanuts the best! Worth my 30 min driving. My parents found it a bit too sweet so I guess u can ask him put less sugar for old folks.
