Kaveka is a decent option in Taksim, especially because it’s one of the very few places that offers kunafa, other desserts, and hookah all in the same spot. That alone makes it convenient if you’re looking for dessert and shisha together without moving around. The prices are fair for a Taksim restaurant, not cheap but reasonable compared to many nearby tourist-focused places. Right off the main tourist street, I stopped for some lunch. I ordered some meat, rice and tea. After 30 minutes, I am still waiting for the tea. The food arrived and the kitchen guy yelled at the (lazy) staff . He set the food in an empty table behind me and left. The waiter finally brought it to me. The rice is 1/2 cooked. I cannot recommend this spot at all. Walk past - don't stop.
