I had a very disappointing experience at Arez, despite the restaurant being very busy and initially looking quite promising. From the moment we arrived, the service felt rushed and unwelcoming. The staff appeared stressed and were noticeably unfriendly, which immediately created an uncomfortable atmosphere. The food was even more disappointing. I am writing to formally complain about a very disappointing and concerning experience I had at Al Arez Express on Edgware Road. I was served chicken leg that was clearly raw and when I took it out to feel it felt like jelly and was unable to eat the rest of my meal once seeing this. When I raised this with your staff, I was told that this is “how chicken leg is made, and we get this complaint often” which is completely unacceptable. Authentic, delicious food. Great service. If you visit, try coffee after Lunch with sweet of (milk and rice). For breakfast : makw sure to order lubna (amazing type of cheese, falafel, foul medames, shakshouka).
