Lu Chen★★★The service we experienced was pretty bad: not friendly, and pretty much nonexistent. Had some small breakfast&coffee here with a colleague. Ended up leaving a lower-than-normal tip (though still 18$). I am not sure why the service was so underwhelming. Perhaps it was typical. Perhaps it was because we were not the typical guests. (We are comfortably poor, being professors, which are infamously indistinguishable from homeless.)
Alex Goldstein★Went there on Mother’s Day and they decided to shrink the menu while elevating the price. Had to wait 20 min before some very rude waiter to even show up. One tagliatelle with no protein and no sides costs $85, and they call it a “special treat to mothers”.
Sim Lauren★★★★★Got a recommendation from the local next to me on the airport shuttle that The Living Room balcony was the best place for drinks & people-watching. And it absolutely delivered. We spent an amazing couple hours with cocktails, smashing through the charcuterie board watching the sun go down over Santa Monica.
Ömer Faruk Aydınlı★★★★★I enjoyed some dessert and coffee with a beautiful view. Everything was just as it should be; the staff were kind, the service was fast, and the desserts were equally delicious. I can’t say anything about the main dishes, but I’m sure they’re tasty too.
