Owner of a fellow kava bar here! I HATE leaving bad reviews, but whoever you guys had working the bar today (Dec 31st @ 1 PM) needs to be fired. I came in, sat at the bar ready to order for about 10 minutes with no employee in sight. When she finally came out from the back she didn’t greet me, was clearly in a bad mood, and when I asked to order she rolled her eyes at me? I started with the easy part of the order - a double espresso. In an annoyed tone she says: “Well, is it for here or to go? We don’t do coffee to go, you can go next door.” …okay. So I proceed with the next part of the order

Had such a great experience at SoDo Kava 🤍 From the moment I walked in, everyone treated me so kindly and made me feel really welcome. I asked for a special drink made a certain way, and they were more than happy to prepare it exactly how I wanted it. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the overall experience. The vibe was amazing, the atmosphere felt relaxing and positive, and the service honestly made my day. Definitely one of those places that makes you want to come back again

It's not my FAVORITE kava in town, but I'll say the bar tenders are all awesome. They have a nice pool table, great drinks, board games, and more. Everything is done well! The location and layout aren't my favorite, and I also have never made friends here yet, so that's a factor, but still 5 stars because they're doing everything well, it's just not my favorite kava location.

The drink is not tasty. My friend didn’t like hers as well. I’ve been here many times and tried all their mocktails but non of them are great, just mediocre. Very disappointed.
