Persian Paradise Restaurant & Shisha Lounge is a brilliant spot if you’re after authentic Persian food and a great atmosphere. The flavours are spot on — you can tell everything is made with care and proper ingredients. The koobideh was excellent — juicy, perfectly seasoned, and you can genuinely taste real meat, not the processed kind you sometimes get elsewhere. I had a very disappointing experience at Persian Paradise. The staff were extremely rude and the food was not fresh — it was served cold and we were told it had just been taken from the fridge and microwaved. To make things worse, I found a stone in my soup and when I raised this, the staff accused us of trying to cause a problem. I simply wanted a warm, peaceful meal. Poor customer service and a terrible attitude. Do not waste your money here.

One of the Persian places I’ve tried in Southampton and it honestly was great! The food was delicious, albeit a bit of a small portion compared to other places, and full of flavor. The soup was great too, very warm for a soar throat! The staff were great and the atmosphere was cozy, I definitely see myself coming here to try the other items on their menu!
