The place is dope. They play pretty good music. 2 stars because they charge $30 per person to smoke ONE hookah? We came one night for my birthday and paid $120 for 4 people to smoke ONE hookah (as if it was coming with a bottle?) . Then we came back on another night with 2 people and was charged only $35 for the hookah. This is ridiculous and would make someone not want to support because of the money gouging. EDIT: The owner replied saying that I must have ordered other items??? No! You should do an investigation into your staff. The servers are charging $30 per person to smoke a hookah! Man

If you’re looking for a fun, high-energy spot in downtown San Diego, Myst Hookah Lounge on Fifth Avenue in the Gaslamp is the place to be. Located right in the heart of it all and walking distance from Petco Park, it’s the perfect vibe for a night out—whether it’s a couples night, girls night, or boys night. The atmosphere is unmatched, with some of the best live DJs in town keeping the energy up all night. They also stream UFC fights and all major sports, so there’s always something going on. The drinks are amazing, and the food definitely stands out—it’s not your average hookah lounge menu

Checked out Myst in the Gaslamp and had a great time. The vibe is super chill but still feels classy, perfect for hanging out with friends or starting the night! Hookah was smooth, with a bunch of flavor options (we tried a mix they recommended and it was legit). Staff was cool and kept the coals fresh without us having to ask. Drinks were strong, music was solid, and the whole place had a good energy without being too packed or too loud. Definitely a go-to spot if you're looking for a hookah lounge in downtown San Diego. Will be back for sure!

I had such an amazing experience at Myst Lounge! Shoutout to my server Jackie, who truly made the experience next-level. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, and her drink recommendations were spot on. My favorite drink of the night was the Treasure Island. Absolutely delicious and perfectly balanced. Between the great service, drinks, and ambiance, Myst Lounge is definitely a place I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun lounge with amazing staff and drinks!
