One of the better lounge experiences I’ve had in DC. The staff was attentive from the moment we walked in, drinks came out quick, and the whole vibe stayed consistent all night. A lot of places on U Street have good music but weak service, Tipsy actually delivered on both. The DJ kept the energy up without overdoing it, hookah was smooth, and the staff made sure our section was taken care of the entire night. You can tell they care about hospitality and not just bottle service. Definitely a spot I’d come back to with friends.

A few doors down from Ben’s, so it’s in a great location. We stopped in while walking because the dj was playing some serious music. He definitely had the tunes? The place was pretty empty and I think that we were the only people in there actually. It was dimly lit to set the mood. But regardless of it being empty, not a single server came to offer us drinks or hookah. I want to say we were there at least 20 mins. Someone even went up to the counter to order and it never came. So we left. Why spend your money where it’s not wanted?
