We were taken to the Godfrey for their rooftop happy hour. I really wanted to enjoy some of the Chicago scenery and this is definitely the place to make that happen. They're happy hour prices were really great and they had a variety of drinks that you could choose from. The menu was light and fresh but the views were amazing! They also had a DJ that was playing Modern upbeat sounds that kept the vibe real lively. We didn't order much other than the drinks and enjoy the view and the atmosphere definitely recommend for a cool vibe with friends.

I had an amazing time at the I|O Godfrey Rooftop Lounge — easily one of the best rooftop experiences in Chicago. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere hits you. The food was delicious. We had the Godfrey sushi, spicy tune sushi, and sliders. The sushi was surprisingly good. We didn’t expect to see it on the menu. We are big fans of sushi and I make my own at home so I can be picky sometimes. Would order again. Service was great, atmosphere was as expected- awesome. I’d say the only thing that was a letdown were the drinks. For the price you pay and the level of quality of the location, ambiance, and mall else- I really expected to be blown away by the cocktails. We just weren’t enjoying them to the degree we imagined.

The entire experience was great from checking into our reservation on the rooftop to exit. The hostess was inviting. Our server, Jennifer, was energetic, attentive, timely with her service. Additional wait staff were exception in there services as well. Bring out orders and collecting empty dinnerware. The food was delicious, with amazing portion sizes. Ordered the Wagyu Beef Sliders, Steak Salad, Dragon Maki Roll, Avocado Toast Signature Black Truffle Fries, Mango Daquiri, and the Frose All Day. The rooftop itself was beautiful. Nice crowd, perfect weather, and cool views. As a first time
